In a heart-wrenching road accident on the Bhopal-Indore highway near Khajuri on May 23, 2025, three childhood friends lost their lives, while a fourth remains critically injured. The accident took place around 2 a.m. when their Hyundai Venue lost control at a high speed and hit a tree before crashing into an electric pole.

The victims—Preet Ahuja (26), Pankaj Sisodia (25), and Vishal Dabi (25)—were residents of Bairagarh, Bhopal, and had grown up together. Their friend Rahul (27), also from the same locality, survived and is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU at Chirayu Hospital.
Preliminary investigations and CCTV footage revealed the vehicle was speeding up to 140 km/h. The accident happened while the friends were returning from a dhaba in Sehore. Rahul recounted that despite warning Preet to slow down, he kept driving fast—allegedly to scare his friends.
