Ahmedabad, June 13, 2025 — In what many are calling a miraculous stroke of fate, Bhoomi Chauhan, a young woman from Gujarat, missed her flight by just 10 minutes — and her story has since gone viral across social media platforms.
Bhoomi was scheduled to board Air India flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to Delhi. However, due to a delay caused by heavy city traffic and a slightly late cab arrival, she reached the airport terminal just 10 minutes past the final check-in time. Despite pleading with airline staff, she was not allowed to board, and the gate was already closed.
Though initially disappointed and emotional, her situation turned into a wave of national sympathy when it was later revealed that the same flight suffered a serious technical fault shortly after takeoff. Fortunately, the plane managed to land safely after a mid-air emergency, but Bhoomi’s narrow miss caught public attention.
She shared a heartfelt video recounting her experience, saying, “At first, I was frustrated. But now I realize missing that flight may have been a blessing.”
Thousands have since flooded her post with messages of support and relief. Her story has sparked online debates around airline flexibility, fate, and the unexpected ways life unfolds.
